During my time at California State University, Chico, where I earned my BS in Game Design, I worked on several large team projects creating games, with a focus on level design. Through designing levels, I learned how to guide player attention, create intuitive flows, and craft meaningful interactions skills that naturally translate into UI design. This foundation in spatial thinking, pacing, and user guidance has been invaluable as I’ve transitioned from designing game environments to designing interfaces that are both functional and engaging.
I thrive in collaborative environments, where ideas can evolve through iteration and feedback. I enjoy the challenge of transforming complex systems into clear, intuitive user experiences. Whether I’m crafting interactive prototypes, designing HUDs, or refining UX flows, I draw on my level design experience to ensure interfaces guide users seamlessly and create immersive, satisfying interactions.
