Esports Organization Website

Designed a responsive website for an esports organization, guiding the project from initial user flows to high-fidelity mockups. I mapped out key user journeys (fans, players, and sponsors), translated them into low-fidelity wireframes to establish structure and hierarchy, and refined the experience into polished, high-fidelity designs. The final result balances bold esports branding with clear navigation, engaging content sections, and conversion-focused touchpoints.

I created a comprehensive user flow to map out the full website experience across key sections including About, Esports, Shop, and Membership. This flow outlines how users navigate from the homepage to specific goals such as viewing teams, browsing merchandise, comparing membership plans, or completing a purchase. It also accounts for decision points like authentication and plan selection, ensuring logical navigation paths and minimizing friction. This step helped identify edge cases, streamline conversion paths, and establish a clear structural foundation before moving into wireframing.

I developed low-fidelity mockups to establish layout, content hierarchy, and core interactions before moving into visual design. These wireframes focused on structure and usability, using simple components and basic click-through interactions to test navigation, page flow, and key user actions. This stage allowed me to validate functionality and refine the user experience early, ensuring a strong foundation for high-fidelity design.

I translated my low fidelity wireframes into high-fidelity mockups, applying the esports organization’s branding, typography, color system, and visual components that I created. At this stage, I refined spacing, hierarchy, and interactive states to create a polished and cohesive experience. The high-fidelity designs clearly communicate the final look and feel of the product while maintaining usability, accessibility, and strong visual impact,

Key UX Decisions

  • Clear primary navigation separating Esports, Shop, About, and Membership to reduce friction between user types (fans, players, sponsors)
  • Game-based content structure to allow scalable expansion as new teams or titles are added
  • Dedicated membership flow with clear plan comparison and authentication checkpoints to streamline conversion
  • Player profile templates designed for consistency while highlighting individual stats and social links
  • Strong visual hierarchy balancing bold Esports branding with readable content and clear CTAs

The final design presents a cohesive, scalable website system tailored to a growing esports organization. It demonstrates my ability to

  • Design multi-path user journeys across complex site structures
  • Create scalable page templates for teams, players, and content
  • Balance high-impact branding with usability
  • Think strategically about engagement, recruitment, and monetization

What I’d Improve Next

  • Conduct usability testing to validate navigation clarity across user types
  • Explore deeper community features (forums, live match tracking, member dashboards)
  • Refine conversion optimization within the membership and shop flows
